JAKARTA - The production house Marvel Studios has released a new trailer for the film The Eternals which will air in November.
The trailer, released today, August 19, features the main characters of The Eternals who have lived secretly on Earth for thousands of years and have various powers.
This two minute video also shows some of the relationships between Eternals such as Ikaris who radiates power from his eyes, Thena with her weapon, and Makkari who runs super fast.
The character of Kro who once had a relationship with Thena is also shown in this trailer. There's also the premiere of actor Kit Harrington as Dane Whitman who asks Cersei why the Eternals aren't fighting Thanos.
"We are ordered not to interfere in human affairs unless Deviants are involved," replied Gemma Chan's Sersi.
Marvel also shared the first poster showing all the characters in their costumes.
Directed by Chloé Zhao, the film also stars Richard Madden (Ikaris), Kumail Nanjiani (Kingo), Lia McHugh (Sprite), Brian Tyree Henry (Phastos), Lauren Ridloff (Makkari), Barry Keoghan (Druig), Don Lee (Gilgamesh) , Salma Hayek (Take), and Angelina Jolie (Thena).
The Eternals is Chloé Zhao's newest work after Nomadland in 2020. Zhao won the Best Director at the Academy Award.
