Just Aired, Police University Leads Monday Drama Rating

JAKARTA - The first episode of Police University airs on Monday, August 9th. This drama received a warm response from the audience.

Launching Nielsen Korea today, August 10, the premiere of Police University scored a rating of 5.2 percent. Despite being low-key, this drama leads the number one drama broadcast on Mondays.

Police University is a drama about the police starring B1A4's Jinyoung, Krystal, and Cha Tae Hyun.

Yoo Dong-Man (Cha Tae Hyun) is a former detective for 20 years. He works in all departments including violence and cybercrime. Now he is working as a professor at the police academy.

Some of the new students attending the academy are Oh Kang-Hee (Krystal) and Kang Sun-Ho (Jinyoung B1A4). Kang Sun-Ho once worked as a hacker and was very smart personally while Oh Kang-Hee was an honest person.

Police University will focus on the story of each student studying at the police academy and how they overcome obstacles to learning.

“Police University has a lot of elements that you can watch without getting bored. I think it's really good to focus on the character's relationship and how it develops," Krystal said.

The same thing was also agreed by Jinyoung as the main character. “Police University does a great job of photographing events inside and outside the academy.”

Police University airs every Monday and Tuesday at 21:30 on KBS2.
