GFRIEND Comeback With New Album July 2020

JAKARTA - The K-pop group GFRIEND is rumored to be releasing a new song again. This comeback news was first delivered by OSEN on Wednesday, June 17.

Reporting from Soompi, the group consisting of SinB, Yuju, Eunha, Yerin, Sowon, and Umji has finished filming the music video for their title song which will be included in their new album.

The news was confirmed through an upload in the Weverse application where GFRIEND wrote their latest album titled 回: Song of the Sirens which will be released on July 13.

This time, GFRIEND will come up with a new concept and style. According to a source, GFRIEND is bringing a different, transformed side to this new album. GFRIEND is known as K-pop idols who always look new and different as they grow.

Previously, GFRIEND released Crossroads in February. After their agency, Source Music, was acquired by Big Hit Entertainment, the release of the group's music and content will mostly be done through Big Hit's channel.

Apart from Source Music, Big Hit also acquired Pledis Entertainment, SEVENTEEN's agency. Both groups are also present on the Weverse platform, a community application that can connect idols and fans.

Buddies (as GFRIEND fans are called) immediately enlivened social media writing the hashtag Song_of_the_Sirens and GFRIEND on trending topics. They are looking forward to new things from GFRIEND which are certainly different from Crossroads.

In addition, recently GFRIEND released the game Superstar GFRIEND, a rhythm game that contains songs by the singer of Fever. They also interact a lot with fans through their newly created Instagram account.

As for their latest album, Song of the Sirens can be ordered from June 22 physically and digitally.
