Matrix 4 Show Schedule Backward Until 2022

JAKARTA - Warner Bros. studios has pushed back its untitled Matrix 4 film schedule to spring 2022.

According to a Variety report, Saturday, June 13, the film was produced in Germany before it was discontinued due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Initially the film will be released on May 21, 2021, now it will be April 1, 2022.

This step was taken because studios in Hollywood had many changes to their release schedules due to the closure of cinemas during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The film Matrix 4 features the original stars, namely Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne with co-creator Lana Wachowski. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick and Neil Patrick Harris will also star in the film.

Apart from the Matrix, Warner Bros. also reportedly removed the remake of the Witches film from its release schedule which was supposed to air in October. The film stars Anne Hathaway, Octavia Spencer, Stanley Tucci and Chris Rock.

Then, the film Godzilla vs. Kong, who is stepping down on May 21, 2021, as previously slated for the release of Matrix 4.Warner Bros. also pushed back the Tom and Jerry release from December 23 to March 5, 2021.

Warner Bros. also announced the horror film New Line will be released on June 4, 2021 and removed the release of an as-yet as yet untitled film.

They had announced the postponement of Christopher Nolan's film Tenet from July 17 to July 31. Then, moved Wonder Woman 1984's release schedule from August 14 to October 2.
