JAKARTA - Welcoming the 76th month of independence of the Republic of Indonesia, KlikFilm digital platform presents quality films from abroad. One of them is the film Minamata, played by Hollywood actor, Jhonny Deep. In addition, not wanting to miss the Olympic sporting moment, KlikFilm also presents an Olympic documentary entitled The Weight Of Gold.

1. Minamata This film premiered at the 2020 Berlin Film Festival. The film, based on the book of the same name by Aileen Mioko Smith and Eugene Smith, tells the story of a photographer named Eugene Smith (Johnny Deep) who gets a big project offer from a Life magazine leader named Robert Hayes (Bill Nighy) to cover the situation in Japan. Smith finally went to Minamata City which turned out to be hit by a mercury pollution case.

Smith finally decided to solve the case by capturing every moment in Minamata. In carrying out his duties, Smith has to deal with a large chemical company named Chisso which is suspected to be the main mastermind behind this case. Did Smith succeed in showing Minamata's condition to the outside world?

2. The Weight Of GoldThis film, directed by Brett Rapkin, raises the issue of mental health for Olympic athletes. As an international sporting event, the Olympics are always awaited by millions of people around the world. However, many do not know how mentally the athletes who compete in this sporting event are mentally. The film features interviews from athletes who have competed in the Olympics such as Michael Phelps, Jeremy Bloom, Lolo Jones, Gracie Gold, Bode Miller, Shaun White, Sasha Cohen, David Boudia, and Katie Uhlaender.

3. The White Storm 2: Drug Lords This film was directed by Herman Yau and the script was written by Eric Lee and Herman Yau. The film, starring the famous Hong Kong actor, Andy Lau, tells the story of Yu Shun-tin (Andy Lau), a former gang member who has become a billionaire. He promised to use his wealth to fight drugs after watching his son die of an overdose. Until finally Yu had to deal with his friends when he was still a gang member.

4. A Witness Out Of The Blue The film premiered at the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival on 18 October 2019 before it was released in Hong Kong cinemas on 24 October 2019. It was also screened at the Rotterdam International Film Festival 28 January to 1 February 2020. The story begins after a robbery incident at a jewelry store, the police found a murder case. It is known that the victim who was the DPO of the jewelry store robbery case was killed. However, there was not a single witness who saw the killer, except for a bird. Lin Faliang (Louis Cheung), a police officer who likes animals, tries to communicate with parrots. Because Inspector Yip did not believe in animals, Lin Faliang brought the parrot as his investigation material. Meanwhile, Wang Xin Yuan, who already knew that he was being wanted by the police, tried to hide in someone else's place. How did Lin Faliang uncover this murder case with the help of parrots?

5. Still Mine

It is a 2012 Canadian romantic drama film. It was released in a limited edition at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival and publicly released on May 3, 2013. Written and directed by Michael McGowan and based on a true story, the film stars James Cromwell as Craig Morrison, a farmer in rural St. Martins, New Brunswick struggles with government bureaucrats (Jonathan Potts) for the rights to build a new home for his ailing wife Irene (Geneviève Bujold) when their existing home no longer fits his wife's health needs.
