JAKARTA - Actor Nam Da Reum and actress Kim Sae Ron will compete in the latest Korean drama titled The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim.

This fantasy romance drama tells the story of a woman named Ga Doo Shim (Kim Sae Ron) who has supernatural abilities. However, she wants to escape her destiny as a shaman and become an ordinary student at school.

One day, Ga Doo Shim meets Na Woo Soo (Nam Da Reum), a smart kid at school. Na Woo Soo can see ghosts after meeting Ga Doo Shim.

The latest teaser released on Monday, July 26 shows Ga Doo Shim's interaction with Na Woo Soo. “My grandmother said as long as I can safely pass 18, I will live a happy life,” said Ga Doo Shim.

The two begin to unite to catch the mystery and communicate with the ghosts at the school where they study.

The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim is Nam Da Reum's latest project after starring in the drama Start-Up in 2020. Likewise, Kim Sae Ron who last played Nobody Knows.

“Kim Sae Ron and Nam Da Reum had great chemistry during filming like real friends. The exorcist duo will be a combination of a female shaman who transfers to school and the best student in the school, giving viewers a fresh story," the production team quoted Soompi as saying.

The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim has 12 episodes with a duration of 20 minutes. The drama will air from July 30.
