IU, SNSD's YoonA, And A Number Of Korean Artists Become Film Festival Judges

JAKARTA - Being the main star in front of the big screen is common, but what if your idol becomes a judge at a film festival? Wednesday, June 10, IU, Girls Generation (SNSD) YoonA, Lee Je Hoon, Oh Jung Se, and Lee Jung Eun were selected as honorary judges for the Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival.

This is a short film festival that is used as a place to find new stars who shine in South Korea. Reporting from Soompi, the five actors and actresses will judge short films of different genres. IU for social impact, YoonA for comedy, Lee Jung Eun for fantasy and horror. Thriller or action for Lee Je Hoon, and Oh Jung Se for melodrama.

Later, these judges will select the films selected and shown in the Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival. This role will be the first time for these actors and actresses after a long career in the film industry.

SNSD's IU and YoonA are K-pop stars who have successfully transformed into top actresses. If YoonA starred in a number of films such as Confidential Assignment and EXIT, it is different from IU who will just make her film debut in the film Dream with Park Seo Joon and is currently completing the shooting process.
