Kris Wu Raises His Voice About Sexual Harassment Claims

JAKARTA - Singer Kris Wu has denied all the accusations that have been circulating on the internet recently. Quoting Koreaboo today, July 19, Kris Wu gave an official statement through his Weibo account. He did not do what he was accused of and he is ready to take responsibility for his words.

"I didn't respond because I didn't want to interfere with the legal process, but I didn't expect my silence to lead to intense attacks from those who spread rumours."

The former EXO member explained that he only met the person once on December 5, 2020. "I didn't force him to drink, didn't take his phone, and nothing ever happened."

Previously, a 19-year-old woman named Du Meizhu claimed that Kris Wu had predatory activities. They met when Du was 17 years old.

Du Meizhu said that Kris Wu's side mentioned an interview but they did it in the middle of the night. The meeting took place at Kris Wu's house at nine o'clock in the evening.

Kris Wu mentioned several potential projects that could make Du Meizhu an actor in the entertainment industry. Starting from acting for his music videos to the drama The Golden Hairpin.

Du Meizhu admitted to being forced to drink alcohol and when he woke up, he was on Kris Wu's bed. The rapper even promised to take Du to his mother during the new year.

Furthermore, Du said Kris Wu used several methods to lure young women to sex through his WeChat account. It will contact them to be cast as the female lead in the music video or join a record label.
