Hospital Playlist Ready To Show Special Episodes And Gigs Together

JAKARTA - The new Korean Drama Hospital Playlist aired its final episode on Thursday, May 28. For 12 episodes, the audience was treated to a touching story about the friendship of five doctors at the hospital. A positive response was seen from the acquisition of a rating that reached 14.1 percent, so TVN prepared a special episode.

According to Nielsen Korea, this drama experienced a 1 percent increase from the previous episode. The highest viewership rating reached 16.3 percent in this episode 12. At the end of the screening, Hospital Playlist was still the first drama with a high rating, followed by Kkondae Intern, Fix You, and Mystic Pop-Up Bar which aired on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Increasing slowly, Hospital Playlist ends the story with a number of questions answered. Some of the others may only be known in the second season which will air in 2021.

None of the stories really ended in this drama because they promised to return with a new season. Through messages posted on Instagram, the five main players - Jo Jung Suk, Yoo Yeon Seok, Kim Dae Myung, Jung Kyung Ho, Jeon Mido - promised viewers to return for season two.

One of the actors, Yeon Seok, even invited other players to keep practicing in the band together even though shooting for Hospital Playlist had ended.

Knowing the positive response from the audience, tvN television channel will air a special behind the scenes drama making Hospital Playlist on June 4. Check out the preview below:

Apart from the special episode news, Hospital Playlist's band Mido and Parasol will take part in the drama's final soundtrack. They contributed the song Me to you, you to me which was previously performed by Jatanpung and became the soundtrack for the film The Classic. The song was released today, Friday, May 29 across music streaming services.

Mido and Parasol are also reportedly going to hold a live band session on the Siboya YouTube Channel after the special episode of Hospital Playlist.
