JAKARTA - Succulent plants such as ornamental cacti are indeed cute to be used as home or office decorations. Like most plants, succulents also need a little care from you. Here are four basic tips from VOI to keep your succulents healthy and growing beautiful!

Giving Sunshine

Well, this part is quite tricky. Succulents love sunlight, but if they are constantly exposed to direct exposure, the bark of the plant can burn. Choose a shady place that often gets sunlight, such as next to a window. If the plant grows thin with a pale green color, it means it needs a lot of sunlight.

Pot Selection

This step is quite easy. You just choose a pot size that is not too big, and also avoid glass or ceramic containers that do not have small holes in the bottom.

Don't Water Often

Since the native habitat of succulents is dry, you should avoid over-watering. They can really, last for a few days.
