JAKARTA - The Postcard to Heaven series will air on Genflix starting June 25. This 5-episode series is adapted from Ruwie Meyta's novella entitled Wini's Postcard. Starring Denira Wiraguna, Ferly Putra, Fiedra Azalia, Tyara Vanesha, and Keiko Ananta, this series offers a moving and inspiring story.

Postcard to Heaven tells the story of Ruth Dewayani who feels happy to be able to work at the post office according to her dreams. She occupies a corner of the office space with a reception desk for customers who want to send letters, packages, parcels to deposit money.

Becoming a post office staff was Ruth's dream. In fact, very obsessive. Only Reza, who understood Ruth's wish. Reza also pushed Ruth to reach her dream. Reza is a pen pal of hers. They have been sending letters to each other for 18 years, without ever meeting face to face. Reza studied doctor in the Netherlands.

The visit of a mother and a little girl strengthened Ruth Dewayani's belief that her work was very useful for others. Rosiana took her daughter, Wini, to send a postcard. A postcard to God with the address of heaven. Ruth was confused, but Rosiana asked Ruth to just accept Wini's postcard.

Wini is a blood cancer patient. Through a postcard to God, she laments so that her mother can smile again after her father's death five years ago. Ruth had to return the postcard to God on orders from her superior, Mr. Reka. The company does not accept undelivered letters or postcards.

Ruth's job was to return the postcards and letters in the postbox to God. There were 377 letters, 277 belonging to a woman named Herdiana, while two postcards belonged to Wini.

Mrs. Rosiana allowed Ruth to keep Wini's postcard. Ruth and Wini are also friends. Thanks to Ruth's story, Reza is willing to guarantee Wini's treatment program at a hospital in the Netherlands. Ruth was incredibly happy. Wini can undergo better treatment, she can meet Reza in the Netherlands.

Too bad Ruth's happiness had to be lost. Wini died before undergoing treatment. Not because of cancer, Wini died from being hit by a car with a drunk driver.
