JAKARTA - The Rain has decided to re-release an album this year. As the opening act, the band fronted by Indra Prasta (lead vocals, guitar), Iwan Tanda (guitar, vocals), Ipul Bahri (bass, vocals) and Aang Anggoro (drums, vocals) released the song Aku Ready!.

In this new single, The Rain seems to have transformed into a 90s-era boyband with vocals that are very full of harmony and different music packaging.

“The Rain is a very guitar-oriented band. And in this song, we don't use a guitar at all, said Aang in a release received by VOI, Wednesday, June 23.

Through the single I'm Ready! This is also the first time that The Rain has included rap vocals in their songs. "There are two lines of lyrics that are interesting if filled with rap style. At first we wanted to fill it ourselves," said Indra.

I am ready! will be the filler for The Rain's new album which is planned to be released at the end of 2021 as a celebration of their 20th anniversary. "Staying productive working on new songs is the way we choose in the midst of these tough conditions," said Iwan.
