JAKARTA - Young musician Amanda Fedora collaborated with renowned Indonesian composer Andi Rianto for his new song, Pursuit. The song also features the Budapest Orchestra.

Through a written statement released by Antara, Friday, Amanda said Pursuit is a song that departs from the phenomenon and reality of the many cases of depression and hopelessness, due to various reasons.

Some of these things are caused by social pressure, rejection, bullying, disharmony in relationships, loss or failure to achieve achievements; whether at school, work or business that can make people lose hope in life.

"But experiencing and going through this, we must have the courage to accept reality and rise to break free from the shackles of the past or trauma," said Amanda.

He added, everyone has problems in life but it is hope that makes individuals survive. This song, according to him, is self-determination about the hope of achieving that happiness.

"Through this song Pursuit, it is hoped that it can inspire all listeners, so they don't give up no matter what difficulties they face, and continue to pursue hopes for their own happiness," Amanda added.

Meanwhile, Pursuit is Amanda's third song after her debut single, Stormbreaker, whose video clip was directed by Tompi. He also previously released a second single entitled Wanderer which was dedicated to Alzi Indonesia to support Alzheimer's sufferers and caregivers.

Apart from composing songs, Amanda is also active in the children's choir as a soprano, mastering several musical instruments and also making illustrations at a young age.
