JAKARTA - The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, held a Conscientization of Academic and Institutional Strengthening, which took place on 20-22 May 2026, in Bogor., which took place on 20-22 May 2026, in Bogor. The agenda was attended by the Dean of FEB UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, along with the faculty leadership, including the Vice Deans, Head of Study Programs (Kaprodi), and Secretary of Study Programs (Sekprodi).

In the opening of the event, the Dean of FEB UIN Jakarta, Prof. Ibnu Qizam, stated that the consignment was a step in the cross-fertilization of the faculty, in formulating an academic road map, which is adaptive to global dynamics. The presence of all elements of the program leadership, is an important foundation for aligning perceptions, evaluating the curriculum, and constructing a much stronger faculty institution.

In order to dissect the tactical strategy for developing institutional quality, FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta presents an expert, as well as a leading higher education governance practitioner, Prof. Dr. Tika Widiastuti. Who is currently serving as Vice Dean I for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Alumni FEB Universitas Airlangga (Unair).

In the main material session entitled "Academic Development of the Faculty", Prof. Dr. Tika Widiastuti explained comprehensive material, regarding the urgency of transforming the faculty governance to international standards. He underlined the importance of a robust curriculum, strengthening impactful international research and publications, improving faculty human capital capacity, and internationalization through global partnerships and international accreditation, such as FIBAA or AACSB.

"Academic development is not just an administrative routine, but a continuous commitment, to create a high-quality learning ecosystem. Faculty must focus on value creation, recognition of lecturers in the global arena, and ensuring that the curriculum taught is able to answer the real needs of industry and society," said Prof. Tika Widiastuti in front of the participants of the consultation.

During the three days of the consignment, the leaders in the environment of FEB UIN Jakarta, intensively formulated tactical instruments, mapped the potential of new programs. And also formulate institutional strengthening strategies, based on accountable operational support governance.

Through the close synergy between faculty and program leaders built in the activity, FEB UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is optimistic, can accelerate the implementation of strategic programs, improve academic quality achievements. And strengthen its position as one of the leading Islamic economics and business faculties, and internationally reputable in Indonesia.
