JAKARTA - Good news for lovers of Asian cinema. The Bali International Film Festival (Balinale) 2026 is ready to present a special surprise through the Hong Kong Film Gala Presentation program. In collaboration with the Asian Film Academy Awards (AFAA), as many as six selected films from Hong Kong will greet the audience in the midst of the festival.
The presence of AFAA at Balinale 2026 is a moment of the return of this collaboration after being absent in 2025. This year, Balinale is committed to strengthening the closeness between high-quality works and loyal audiences in Indonesia.
