Cinta Laura Clarifies Finger Surgery: "The Wound Goes to the Bone"

JAKARTA - Actress Cinta Laura Kiehl gave a firm clarification regarding the incident that caused her finger to undergo surgery. Through his personal X (formerly Twitter) account, he answered the public's confusion about why the wound, which was initially considered only a "beset wound", required serious treatment at the hospital.

This clarification started with Cinta's upload which said his finger still felt painful. Realizing the many questions, he felt the need to clear up the misunderstandings that were circulating.

"Oh yes, just to clarify because it was quite crowded who was confused, 'the wound was like that, why did I have to go to the hospital?'" he wrote, quoted by VOI from his X personal account, Tuesday, May 12.

In a series of replies, Cinta explained that the injury he suffered was much more severe than many people imagined. He emphasized that his wound was not just scratched, but was caused by a meat knife with a deep enough incision.

"Guuuys, the wound is not 'just' a mistake. Yesterday I was stabbed with a butcher's knife and the wound was quite severe to the bone," Cinta said in her reply.

Furthermore, he revealed that the decision to perform surgery was made by the doctor after considering the existing risks. Surgical action is needed to ensure that no vital blood vessels are cut, which could be fatal.

"The doctor decided to operate (not just a stitch in the emergency room) because it was very dangerous if there were important blood vessels that were hit. But thank God, fortunately it was safe!" he explained.

At the end of his explanation, the singer of "Oh Baby" did not forget to thank all parties who had sent prayers for his recovery.

"Thank you to those who have prayed, I really appreciate it! 🙏," he concluded.
