JAKARTA - The annual culinary event that highlights Indonesian chefs and culinary, Chef Expo 2026 was officially held today, Wednesday, May 6 at NICE PIK 2, North Jakarta. Held for four days, visitors and business people in the culinary field can meet potential business partners.
The event was also attended by the Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, Widi Wardhana, who appreciated the presence of Chef Expo 2026 as a form of passing down the Nusantara cuisine.

ICA considers it important to preserve the heritage of culinary traditions handed down from generation to generation, embodied in every culinary work," said Minister of Tourism, Widi Wardhana in North Jakarta on Wednesday, May 6.
"We are very proud of the activities of the chefs who also convey Indonesian food to tourists who always come to Indonesia and wish them success," he said.
In the 7th year of implementation, the Indonesian Chef Association (ICA) targets to be visited by around 35,000 visitors during the four-day implementation.
"The commitment to continue to preserve Indonesian cuisine is a strong motivation for ICA to continue to hold the Chef Expo from year to year," said Chef Santo as President of ICA.
Chef Expo 2026 will present a number of well-known culinary celebrities who are the favorites of the Indonesian people, such as Chef Juna, Chef Chandra Yudasswara, Bunda Sisca Soewitomo, Chef Axhiang, Chef Mutho, Chef Yongki Gunawan, Mama Rieta, and other culinary figures.
Chef Expo not only showcases chefs but also various business entities or suppliers in the culinary field. In addition, several activities can be found in this event ranging from talk show sessions, cooking competitions, to cooking demonstrations.
