JAKARTA - Netflix streaming service announced that the Shadow & Bone series will continue into a second season. Still adapted from the novel Grishaverse, this story was successfully watched by more than 55 million people on 28 days of the premiere.

The second season of Shadow & Bone will have eight episodes of one hour each. The series is still being produced by Eric Heisserer, Leigh Bardugo, and Shawn Levy.

"I'm honored and excited to be returning to the Grishaverse, and continuing the story of so many charming characters, especially Milo", said Eric Heisserer in a statement received by VOI.

Shadow & Bone tells the story of an orphaned soldier named Alina Starkov (Jessie Mei Li) who has extraordinary powers. He joins an elite magic troop group named Grisha.

Leigh Bardugo explained that they have been working on the story since 10 years ago so many stories and characters have not been shown.

The second season of Shadow & Bone is also still being played by Jessie Mei Li, Archie Renaux, Freddy Carter, Amita Suman, Kit Young, Ben Barnes, Danielle Galligan, and Calahan Skogman. Today, June 8, a video features those announcing this good news.
