Actress Westny DJ Allegedly Becomes Victim of Fraud until 'Debt Collector' Came to Her

JAKARTA - Actress Westny DJ, known for her role in the film Filosofi Kopi and the series Yakin Nikah, brought surprising news regarding her life and business conditions in Bali.

Through a post on the Threads platform, the owner of the full name Ni Made Westny Dwi Jayanti admitted that he was experiencing a severe ordeal due to the alleged fraud that befell him.

Westny, who has been living in Bali for the past six years, revealed that his culinary business, Manaka Burger, was the target of fraud. This not only affects the family's finances, but also threatens the survival of his employees.

Even though he has told his anxiety, Westny has not been able to reveal in detail the modus operandi of the fraud he experienced. He chose to be careful for the sake of the smooth legal process.

"I can't tell you the details of how I was deceived @manaka.burger, because I'm looking for legal problems first," wrote Westny DJ in his post quoted by VOI, Tuesday, April 28.

He emphasized that his main focus at this time is to ensure that Manaka Burger continues to operate. For him, this business is not just about finding personal profit, but a means of livelihood for local residents.

"The impact of losses and victims is not only me and my family, but also employees. They depend on us because they also have families to feed," he added with empathy.

The situation is getting weirder when Westny shares the story that her house has started to be visited by debt collectors. He admitted that the borrowed funds were originally intended for business expansion and opening up wider employment opportunities.

However, as a result of the fraud, his business plan was in tatters. Westny admitted that he experienced culture shock because he and his husband were not used to having debt arrears.

"In the morning, debt collectors have started to arrive. My husband and I are not used to being in debt, so it's a bit of a culture shock to face it. This scam even destroyed my husband and my dreams," he said sadly.

This condition also affects his mental health. Westny did not deny that he felt depressed and his emotions became unstable due to the pressure.
