Jessica Iskandar Had to Enter the Hospital for Bacteria, Vincent Verhaag: His Medicine is Only One, Vacation!

JAKARTA - Vincent Verhaag's wife, Jessica Iskandar, is reported to have been rushed to the hospital after suffering from high fever for days. The disease is suspected to have come from a bacterial infection due to eating raw food before their family vacation schedule.

Vincent explained that his wife's condition declined due to exhaustion and the wrong choice of food.

"He's like his immune system drops immediately. He's tired because he's on vacation with the kids. Maybe he just ate the wrong food. The virus comes in, the bacteria are like that," said Vincent in South Jakarta, not long ago.

After seeing his wife's fever did not go down, Vincent took quick action. Intensive care is needed because Jessica's fever symptoms are quite persistent.

"At first, the first night was a fever, the second and third were still feverish, we waited until the fourth was still feverish. Well, there I made the decision to go to the hospital. Fortunately, we checked, we were given medicine, we were given an infusion," he said.

"Oh, how many days he was sick, his fever, seven or eight days his fever did not stop. Finally to the hospital, infusion, medicine, antibiotics too," continued Vincent.

Interestingly, right after getting better, Jessica Iskandar immediately went on a cruise vacation.

"The 10th and 11th days have improved, and on the 14th or 13th day they left for Singapore. Gas! But he has one medicine: vacation. If my wife has one medicine. If you're on vacation, all diseases disappear," joked Vincent while laughing.

Based on the results of medical observation, Jessica's disease was triggered by food, not stomach acid problems.

"Not (Gerd). It's a bacterial virus. Yes, what's the name in it, yes, viruses, bacteria, from food. Oral means food, if it's not usually a drink, but my feeling is food," he said.

Vincent suspects that the raw seafood menu is the culprit behind his wife's health collapse.

"Because he also said he had eaten raw food, namely what... sashimi platter, yes, all of it was raw fish. He had eaten it two days before," said the father of three.

After the incident, Vincent was more protective and gave a firm warning about food restrictions for his wife. Not only sea fish dishes, meat dishes must now be ensured to be perfectly cooked.

"I say it's the same thing, I know, I say to avoid the raw ones like sashimi sushi like that, I avoid it first," he said.

"If it's not the half-raw meat, it's the steak steak, I say that the mateng-mateng is definitely the first," he added.

Even so, Vincent ensured that Jessica Iskandar's condition was now fully fit after the holidays.

"That's all. But so far it's safe. All good, he's back again and healthier, just smile," concluded Vincent.
