Bata Ketupat

Betawi vegetable ketupat comes from the Betawi people in Jakarta. This dish is usually served in the morning as a breakfast menu. The ketupat is cut into small pieces and then poured with santan sauce containing Siamese pumpkin. The sauce is savory and slightly sweet because it uses santan and spices such as red onions, garlic, and cashews.

This dish is usually served with tofu, boiled eggs, and crackers. Some sellers also add sambal to make it more spicy.

Ketupat Kandangan

South Kalimantan has a typical dish that uses ketupat, namely ketupat kandangan. This type of ketupat uses santan sauce mixed with local spices so that the color is yellowish.

People eat this ketupat with catfish, or can also be with boiled eggs as a complement.

Kupat Tahu Gempol

This menu is very familiar to the people of Bandung, West Java. Not only contains kupat, but there are other ingredients such as fried tofu, bean sprouts, and using peanut sauce. This menu is often consumed at breakfast.

Glabed

This dish uses a thick yellow sauce from coconut milk and rice flour, hence the name glabed. Inside the cutlet is cut into small pieces and then mixed with chicken or offal pieces. This menu comes from Tegal, Central Java.

Babanci's Cup

You can find the kupat babanci menu in special events among the Betawi people. This dish does not use coconut milk, but uses a clear spice sauce such as turmeric, coriander, and other bumu. The taste is identical to savory but sweet.
