BOGOR - The atmosphere in the Tanah Sareal area, Bogor City, seemed busier than usual on Saturday, February 21-22, 2026. Hundreds of teachers studying to the study participants were seen queuing up to receive food aid packages ahead of the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H.

This action is a form of appreciation for those who have dedicated time to teach the Qur'an in remote villages but are rarely highlighted. This year, as many as 1,150 food packages were prepared for religious fighters, ranging from Qur'an teachers, mosque marbots, to boarding school students.

"This year we distributed a total of 1,150 food packages. This number continues to increase every year, covering Qur'an teachers, mosque marbot, boarding schools, to residents around," said the Head of the Baksos Division of the AMC Al Ghozy Foundation, Okty Fitria.

Okty said that each beneficiary received a package worth Rp. 260,000 containing 13 types of basic ingredients. The contents include basic kitchen needs ranging from rice, cooking oil, to other supporting materials for preparing sahur and breaking the fast. This step was taken so that the teachers of the Quran could focus on teaching without having to think about the dwindling kitchen stock.

This social service activity is known to have been a routine agenda that has been running for seven consecutive years since 2020. The Chairman of the Al-Ghozy Muslimah Center (AMC) Foundation, Ririe Rizal, emphasized that this success is the result of collaboration between internal and external donors.

He hopes that facilities such as the mosque on the wakaf land of Jalan Pinus, Kampung Jawa, can be more optimal to provide benefits for the wider community.

For the recipients, this assistance is a form of recognition for their profession. Nuraeni, one of the Qur'an teachers, admitted that he felt very cared for through this program. A similar thing was expressed by Dendy Ahmad Dani who came on behalf of his wife.

"I came on behalf of my wife, I used to teach Quran as well. My wife who was invited received this social assistance, but she was sick. Yes, we are grateful, in this Ramadan there is attention," said Dendy.
