Injured, Dahyun Absent from TWICE's Tour in America

JAKARTA - Dahyun is confirmed to not be able to follow the TWICE tour series, THIS IS FOR which is still running until this year. The agency explained that the artist had an injury.

TWICE will continue the THIS IS FOR tour to North America from February 13 to March 7.

"In preparation for the North American tour, Dahyun felt uncomfortable in her knee and received treatment while in the United States. After returning to Korea, she underwent an examination and was diagnosed with a fracture," JYP Entertainment said on Wednesday, February 11.

"Based on the advice of the medical team, he was asked to undergo further examination and take a rest period," he said.

The agency explained that Dahyun tried to keep appearing, including thinking about appearing by sitting during the concert. This desire could not be fulfilled because the concert would be filled with a lot of physical activities.

"After discussing with the artist, the company and medical and health authorities as a priority, it was decided that he would not participate in the scheduled North American tour," the agency explained.

"For the time being, Dahyun will focus on treatment and recovery and look forward to meeting fans in good condition. Involvement in the upcoming schedule will be determined after recovery and Dahyun's communication with the medical staff," said JYP Entertainment.

TWICE is currently on their THIS IS FOR tour which is entering the second phase which is being held on the American continent.
