Married Young, Larissa Chou Says Alvin Faiz Made 7 Mistakes Including Zina

JAKARTA - After trying to cover each other's disgrace and not revealing the reasons for the divorce, Larissa Chou finally shared her feelings openly on Instagram. Larissa felt mentally damaged by Alvin Faiz so she filed for divorce herself in court.

The following is Larissa's full statement uploaded on Instagram @larissachou.

"1. During marriage he never guided me in matters of religion, including teaching the Koran (even though his promise before marriage would guide) I never even asked to pray tahajjud but on the outside I always said he guided me so that he always looks good," he wrote.

"2. During my marriage, I was in the hospital several times, and he didn't want to accompany me while at the hospital. (only dropping off) I felt alone even though there was a husband, and the one who accompanied me at the hospital was always an assistant," continued Larissa.

"3. During his marriage he always prioritized his hobbies and the world, playing futsal too often at night, playing PS all day long, watching football on the side until dawn but not for children," he explained.

"4. Never taught his son to learn anything (Joseph didn't really get a father figure) even when the child was sick he didn't want to take care of him because there was already me and a nanny, even though I didn't sleep all night taking care of the sick child I wanted to be with his father (but if it's to play ps he wants)," added Larissa.

"5. When the club house application came out, every day playing CH chatted a lot of unimportant things until dawn every day even though for the size of a pesantren leader there should be no time for things like that, it's better to focus on family and pesantren," he continued.

"6. Have had sex with another woman in 2019," he wrote.

"7. Sacrificing me to cover up his mistakes," concluded Larissa Chou.

Those seven reasons made Larissa Chou determined to file for divorce from Ustaz Arifin Ilham's son. He said that it was a pity that Yusuf grew up with a man like Alvin Faiz

Alvin Faiz .'s Response

Alvin has not provided any clarification or official response on this matter. VOI has contacted Alvin's manager, but there has been no response.

Through an upload on Insta Stories, Alvin wrote a short answer. "If only everyone knew the real story," wrote Alvin.

Next, Alvin admitted that he did not want to prolong his household drama. "For now, I just agree with her words. And for Larissa, from the bottom of my heart, I'm really sorry for all my mistakes, you are a great woman, thank you for shaping me to this day. U deserve better," wrote Alvin.

Alvin Faiz and Larissa Chou decided to divorce after five years of marriage. When married on August 6, 2016, Alvin, son of Ustaz Arifin Ilham, was only 17 years old.

Thursday, May 20, 2021, Larissa Chou has filed for divorce against Alvin Faiz. The divorce suit was submitted to the Cibinong Religious Court. The schedule for their divorce hearing has not been released until now.
