After Aurelie, Manohara now complains about experiencing violence by her own mother who has black magic knowledge

JAKARTA - Model and activist Manohara Odelia Pinot is back in the public eye. Not because of her social activities, but through a shocking confession about her personal relationship with her mother who has been closed off.

Through a post on his Instagram Story, Manohara expressed his deep pain and trauma that he experienced since childhood. He even admitted that he had difficulty calling the figure "Mother".

"I have trouble even calling her a mother, because her actions are against every human definition of how a mother should be," Manohara wrote in English, quoted by VOI, Tuesday, January 19.

In the upload, Manohara revealed that her mother had long been involved in black magic practices.

He recounted how he was often taken to shamans or "smart people" in various regions, including Sukabumi and Bogor.

The reason is also heartbreaking. The mother considers Manohara as a disobedient child. Instead of seeing him as a child who has his own thoughts, the mother believes that there is a bad figure that resides in Manohara's body.

"I was forced to drink ritual water, bathe in oil, and undergo practices that were frightening and confusing. These experiences were traumatic and continued to haunt me until I was an adult," he said.

Aware that this issue is sensitive, Manohara gave a firm clarification so that her statement was not misinterpreted as an attack on a certain religion.

He emphasized that what his mother did was purely a form of deviation and violence, not part of the teachings of Islam.

"I want to make one thing clear. This is not Islam. Black magic is prohibited in Islam. I have many Muslim friends, and they do not practice or believe in what she (mother) did," said Manohara.

For the 1992-born model, what he experienced was purely a form of child abuse and violence (abuse), which was wrapped in a mystical guise.
