JAKARTA - Weeks after the Stranger Things series ended, a number of facts were revealed behind the scenes of its creation. Through the documentary series Stranger Things, it is reported that they did not have the final script for the last episode.

The Duffer brothers as creators admitted that they did not have a script ready to be given when filming the last episode.

"It's not because we didn't know the end, everything was plotted," said Matt Duffer.

"I had to write it, but we didn't have time," he said.

In the last episode of Stranger Things titled The Rightside Up which featured the resistance of the main characters against Vecna. When they started filming, assistant producer Montana Maniscalco confirmed that the script was not yet complete.

"We shot episode 8 which was not completely finished. We don't even know what happened," said Maniscalco.

"We never read episode 8 in full and we just shot it. We've never done this before. It's pretty weird to jump to episode eight," he said.

The creators also explained that they felt pressured by the production of episode 8 because they felt they had expectations for the end of the Stranger Things series.

"The most difficult writing process we've ever had, not because of the pressure that the script has to be good but there's never been this much noise before," said Matt Duffer.
