The film Suka Duka Tawa tells the story of Tawa (Rachel Amanda), a young comedian who is pioneering to become a comedian while working as an employee of a company. Tawa gained popularity when he told his father, Keset (Teuku Rifnu Wikana) who was a television comedian.

Tawa's comedy began to be known while Pak Keset's career began to decline. One day, Keset met Tawa without the knowledge of his mother and asked for the opportunity to return to the time together.

Tawa who felt that selling her father's shame actually felt a dilemma because she didn't know the relationship between her father and mother. On the other hand, Tawa is also getting closer to her father.

In his press conference, Aco Tenriyagelli explained, "It feels like meeting at the right time. We developed this enough and the trust is right. This is my debut but almost the entire crew who participated also debuted."
