JAKARTA - Justin Baldoni revealed a new claim through a message sent on December 30, 2023. The message was revealed to strengthen Baldoni that Lively deliberately trapped him.

Baldoni and Lively are at loggerheads legally after Lively called Baldoni deliberately humiliated her at the premiere of their film, It Ends With Us. Two years since the film premiered, the two continue to fight legally which has not found the last point.

Citing People, a private message sent on December 30, 2023 contains a conversation between Justin Baldoni and his agent, Danny Greenberg. Baldoni revealed his frustration for dealing with Lively.

In the message, Justin Baldoni told that Lively invited him to meet at home. It turns out that the arrival was because Lively refused to use a stunt for the sex scene in their film.

Lively also invited film producer Todd Black to join the discussion so Baldoni felt it was just a trap.

"It's like trapping me," Justin Baldoni wrote.

Not stopping there, Baldoni also stated that Blake Lively rejected the storyboard (storyboard) and encouraged the actors to keep wearing underwear in the key scenes they called.

"If you know the book, it doesn't make sense," Baldoni wrote again.

Justin Baldoni finally gave 95% of what Blake Lively wanted because he didn't want to argue, but Lively's attitude of constantly arranging the story was exhausting.

The December 30 conversation then appeared in a motion filed by WME, which asked the court to keep confidential portions of certain summary judgment evidence, arguing that the material contained private and non-public internal communications irrelevant to the court's legal analysis.

The message was sent months after an alleged confrontation on the set in April 2023 where Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively's husband, approached Baldoni. The moment was reportedly witnessed by Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman.

Greenberg, now a former agent of Justin Baldoni, then described the conflict behind the scenes very clearly. The WME agent described Lively's behavior during filming as "blackmail," according to the transcript filed in the case.
