Heart Pictures is ready to release their first film titled TOLONG SAYA! (DOWAJUSEYO) on January 29, 2026. Set against the backdrop of the city of Busan, the film's poster and trailer were introduced on December 16, 2025 yesterday.
This film was directed by two directors, Nur Muhammad Taufik & Sjahfasyat Bianca, offering a gripping story with romance in it. In addition to the Indonesian cast, the film also involves two South Korean actors, namely Kim Geba and Kim Seoyoung.
Saskia Chadwick plays Tania, an Indonesian student in South Korea, who is entangled in a world of curious spirits called Min Yong (Kim Seoyoung). Together with Dr. Park Min Jae (Kim Geba), a doctor who falls in love with her, Tania struggles to uncover the dark truth behind Min Yong's life tragedy.
However, the presence of Dion (Cinta Brian), a mysterious man with a dark past, further complicates the situation, while Tania continues to experience mysterious disturbances that make her often hallucinate and lead to endless terror.
In the trailer, the audience is invited to feel the atmosphere of Korean dramas and mystical stories inspired by real stories. The audience's emotions and fears will be ignited through conflicts and interactions between the actors.
"This is a cross-country urban horror that takes place in a big city and involves the audience's emotions. We want to present something new, different from the urban horror that has been known so far," said Erick Mulyono as producer.
Herty Purba, executive producer of Heart Pictures, wants to highlight the lives of diasporas who pursue education and often face many challenges. In line with this, Nucke Rachma as a screenwriter also wants to raise awareness of women who often experience discrimination and harassment.
The cast and director said the filming experience in Busan felt very comfortable. Even though they didn't bring a large team, they learned a lot of new things and cultures, including different professionalism from both countries.
"The filming was done in South Korea and involved actors not only from Indonesia but also from South Korea, of course, has its own challenges. However, all actors gave their best efforts and were very professional, making the whole process feel fun," said director Nur Muhammad Taufik.
"It's a great honor to be part of a horror film with a new feel like TOLONG SAYA! (DOWAJUSEYO). I can't wait to see this film meet its audience in Indonesia. Hopefully, it will not only entertain, but the audience will also get a meaningful message from Tania's struggle story," said Saskia Chadwick.
