JAKARTA - Stories about contract marriage have been very much made in Korean, Chinese, even Thai dramas. However, in Indonesia this story is still rarely found. WeTV tried to make a story of contract marriage through the soap opera 9 Months.

This digital senitron does not air on television but on WeTV and iflix Indonesia starting Thursday, May 27, 2021 and every Tuesday-Thursday at 18.00 WIB. Starring a number of famous artists such as Fero Walandouw, Pamela Bowie, Cita Citata, Syakir Daulay, Dicky Wahyudi, Dinar Candy, Syakir Daulay and Joe P Project, this soap opera will offer romantic and comedic stories.

The soap opera 9 Months tells the story of Welly played by Fero Walandow who is willing to marry Karen, played by Pamela Bowie. Welly's willing to go through a contract marriage in exchange for money.

After the contract period is over, Welly plans to use his reward as a dowry to marry Andini (Cita Citata), the girl he loves so much. The problem arises because Andini asked to marry Welly on the same day as Welly's marriage to Karen.

Fero Walandaouw claimed to be challenged to play a role that is different from my daily life. "Welly is a village boy who fights for love and money panai. I also had to be able to speak Sundanese to play the role of Welly.
