Distance 40 Years, Cher Called Marriage Dating Before 80th Anniversary

JAKARTA - Singer Cher is reportedly preparing to marry his girlfriend, Alexander AE Edwards. The wedding is planned to be held before he celebrates his 80th birthday in May next year.

Citing Page Six, this marriage was held 50 years after their second marriage ended. Even though he and his partner are 40 years apart, he is still prepared to commit.

"Cher is not affected by 40 years apart and is ready to commit. Cher sees her 80th birthday as the perfect time to formalize her relationship," a source told Page Six.

Cher's representatives actually responded by saying, "The report is not true."

Previously, Cher was married to Sonny Bono and then Gregg Allman. He was last married in 1979.

His relationship with Alexander began in November 2022 when they held hands in Los Angeles, United States. A few days later, he confirmed their relationship by saying, "Let me explain. I don't care what everyone thinks."

We don't need to justify our relationship. Those who don't like it, won't like it. We are happy and not harm anyone," he continued.

When he was present as a guest at an event, Cher again gave the same response to the people who criticized him.

Edward never views age distance as an issue. He often says 'Your age may get older, but your soul is getting younger,' Cher says imitating his lover's words.
