JAKARTA - Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson ended their long feud. Vin Diesel sent a message of support to Johnson for his performance in his latest film, The Smashing Machine.

Diesel uploaded a photo with Johnson on set and wrote a lengthy caption of his contribution to the Fast and Furious franchise.

"One of the best gifts in life is not something you can buy but a relationship that runs in it," wrote Vin Diesel via his Instagram account.

Vin Diesel told the story of athlete Mark Kerr when he first moved to California and trained with him for the film xXx in 2002. Mark Kerr's figure became an inspiration in the film The Smashing Machine, played by Dwayne Johnson.

"On a beautiful path, he was always there at the start of my action career. He was such a friend from day one," he said.

"And let me celebrate Dwayne. People don't understand what it's like to be a public view every day. I remember asking our global family about who they wanted to see working with us and a woman named Jan wrote comments saying her dream of seeing me collaborate with Dwayne, "he said.

Vin Diesel ended his writing by praising Dwayne Johnson's appearance in his latest film and saying, "Dwayne really did it... he returned us time and shined while doing it."

Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel got into a fight while making Fast and Furious films. Their fight went viral in 2016 after Johnson called 'chicken guy' and 'candy a**' to Diesel on Instagram.

The satire was confirmed by Johnson for Diesel through his interview until their fight was said to end in 2023. Fans found Johnson visible on the Fast X film credit.

In 2021, Vin Diesel had sent an invitation to Dwayne Johnson to appear in the film Fast X but Johnson replied, 'I didn't return to the franchise.'
