Adaptation Of Dee Lestari's Novel, Musical Paper Boats Present In 2026

JAKARTA - Trinity Entertainment Network in collaboration with Trinity Youth Symphony Orchestra (TRUST) and Indonesia Kaya presents the Musical of the Paper Boat, one of the emotional drama stories raised from the story by Dee Lestari.

The musical Paper Boat will start on January 30 to February 15, 2026 at Ciputra Artpreneur, Jakarta, with a total of 21 shows.

"Frankly, very excited. This is something new and we want to advance the performing arts industry and this is the right time starting with a story that has a personal attachment," said Yonathan Nugroho of Trinity Entertainment Network on Tuesday, November 18 in Central Jakarta.

Trinity, who has been known as a music label and artist management, is trying to expand their business achievements to the realm of performing arts.

"We see that the ecosystem is starting to form, the talent is extraordinary, the world is on the rise and the appreciation is very wide," said Yonatan again.

Producers of Eunike Elisaveta also added, 'We want to make a spectacular, quality show and there are stories that relate to life but also inspire. Shows not only inspire those who watch but creators too.'

Widya Arifianti as the scriptwriter for Paper Boat Musical said, 'This is a challenge and honor. How do we keep the spirit of the novel that feels like a book. Hopefully those who see it will read it for the first time.'

"The teaser is melting pots from dance, visuals, movement, costumes and acting of the players where for example I can realize the contents of Kugy and Keenan's head to be seen by the audience," said Venytha Yoshiantini as director.

Meanwhile, pre-sale tickets for Paper Boat Musical will open on November 19, 2025 via the Loket.com website.
