Haerin, Hyein And Minji, Danielle, And Hanni Return To NewJeans And ADOR

JAKARTA - Five members of NewJeans: Haerin, Hyein, Minji, Danielle, and Hanni decided to return to their previous agency, ADOR. This decision marked a year after they filed for termination of the contract due to an issue that the agency under HYBE did not respond to.

Wednesday, November 12, initially ADOR released a statement that only two of the five NewJeans members resumed their activities, namely Haerin and Hyein.

NewJeans: Haerin and Hyein expressed their desire to continue their activities with ADOR. After a long discussion with their families, the two members respected the court's decision and continued the exclusive contract, ADOR said in a statement on the same day.

It is known that the court rejected the lawsuit of five NewJeans members because their contracts were still valid and there were no issues that tarnished the status of the contract. The court stated that the NewJeans contract with ADOR was still in effect on October 30 yesterday.

Hours later, three other members namely Minji, Danielle, and Hanni gave joint statements stating they were also returning to ADOR such as Haerin and Hyein.

"We decided to return to ADOR after careful discussions. This news was conveyed as one of the members was in Antarctica," said Minji, Danielle, and Hanni.

"Given ADOR hasn't responded to the statement, we announced this through a separate statement," he said.

ADOR itself is examining whether the reports of Minji, Danielle, and Hanni are in accordance with their statements.

NewJeans debuted as a group in 2022 and quickly received appreciation thanks to their discography. NewJeans last released the single album How Sweet in March 2024.
