Application For Divorce Is Granted, Andre Taulany Says Thank You

JAKARTA Andre Taulany showed a calm and grateful attitude after learning that his divorce from Rien Wartia Trigina (Erin) was granted by the South Jakarta Religious Court.

His attorney, Fahmi Bachmid, revealed that Andre immediately gave thanks when he received the news. Fahmi became the first person to inform the client of the verdict.

"I think Andre also knows, because as soon as I received the verdict, the first time I called was Andre," said Fahmi Bachmid in the South Jakarta area, Tuesday, November 11.

"I said, 'I got the verdict, and your request has been granted,' he continued.

When he received the news, Andre was found to be on set. He did not overreact and remained focused on completing his job.

"Yes, he just gave thanks. At that time he was shooting if I'm not mistaken," said Fahmi.

"Yes, that's it," he said, then immediately continued filming again," he continued.

Andre's calm attitude shows that he is mentally prepared to face the end of his household and chooses to continue his life gracefully.

Although the divorce application has been granted, Andre and Erin's legal status has not yet been fully officially separated. Fahmi Bachmid explained that there is still one important step that must be passed before the divorce certificate is issued, namely the pronunciation of the pledge of divorce.

"It's just that stage, the stages of pronunciation of the pledge of divorce," explained Fahmi.

This process can only be carried out after the divorce decision has permanent legal force (inkrah), which is 14 days after the verdict is read, if there is no legal appeal from both parties.

"We have to wait and it must be said before the panel of judges. Then it is legal, and then a divorce certificate will come out," he concluded.
