JAKARTA - Actor and presenter Lee Yi Kyung has been declared withdrawn from The Return of Superman. This announcement was made even though he was only announced as a presenter in October.

Previously, Lee Yi Kyung was announced with YouTuber RalRal as the presenter of the event. They are called the first pair of unregistered presenters.

Lee Yi Kyung is also suspected of having recorded his appearance, but the appearance was canceled as confirmed by the television station.

Lee Yi Kyung's performance at this event was canceled and Kim Jong Min from Koyote was announced as a new presenter, said the KBS2 representative.

Kim Jong Min will film for the first time on November 19 and episodes with a new presenter will air on November 26.

This is the second event where Lee Yi Kyung resigned from his position. Last week, he chose to step down from the How Do You Play event after three years.

Lee Yi Kyung's agency explained that the actor's filming schedule often collided with the event's shooting schedule so he decided to step down in honor of other artists.

The agency also confirmed that Lee Yi Kyung's resignation from a number of events was not related to the controversy that had appeared and linked the name of the actor.
