Leaving Adelaide Cottage, Prince William And Kate Middleton Officially Move To Forest Lodge

JAKARTA - Prince William and Kate Middleton have officially moved to their new home called the 'eternal home', Forest Lodge. The royal couple left Adelaide Cottage located in the Windsor's Home Park area and now occupies a luxury home with eight bedrooms with the status of a historic Grade II building.

Reporting from the Mirror.co.uk page, this move coincides with the half-secret holidays of his children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. This family is indeed targeting to be able to occupy the new home before the Bonfire Night celebration, and now they are adapting to their new environment.

For the Wales family, moving to Forest Lodge is a new positive step, especially after Kate is recovering from cancer.

At the same time, Prince William is also preparing for a solo trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to attend the annual Earthshot Prize Awards.

But the decision to move led the Wales family to stay closer temporarily with Uncle William, Prince Andrew.

Andrew still lives in the Royal Lodge located in Windsor Great Park, about 1.4 miles from Forest Lodge. However, Andrew is rumored to be moving from Royal Lodge to a new home in Sandringham Estate, Norfolk, next year.

The move came after he lost the Prince and Duke of York titles due to a scandal related to Jeffrey Epstein. Prince William and Kate are said to fully support King Charles' decision in dealing with the matter.

Prince Andrew himself faces charges from Virginia Giuffre who claimed to have been sexually assaulted by Andrew as a teenager, after being traded by Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew denied the allegations.

Ahead of the move from the Wales family, a special ban zone has been in effect around Forest Lodge since September. The permanent closure of the Cranbourne gate and the surrounding parking area have raised complaints from residents.

Those who previously lived within a half-mile radius of the gate could usually buy key access at an annual cost of 110 pounds or IDR 2.4 million. In addition, additional fences are also installed along the 2.3-mile perimeter of the 150-hectare area.

It is important to know that entering an area categorized as a protected site under the 2005 Serious Organized Crime and Police Act (SOCPA) is a criminal act.

Apart from Forest Lodge, the Wales family also has two other residences, namely Anmer Hall with ten bedrooms at Sandringham Estate, Norfolk, and Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace, London.
