Thailand Mourning, Parts Of Pattaya Halloween Festival Activities Canceled

JAKARTA - Thailand is currently in mourning over the death of Mrs. Suri Ratu Sirikit, on Friday, October 24, 2025. This period of mourning has an impact on a number of major events that are scheduled to be canceled.

Apart from the Halloween Festival, Pattaya has also prepared other major annual events. Such as the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival, which attracts local and foreign tourists.

Most hotels near the event site are also fully booked for the fireworks festival, which will be held on November 28 and 29, 2025. Authorities said that the festival would still be held.

However, there will be some adjustments related to its implementation. Visitors will be asked to have a moment of silence for one minute before the show begins in memory of the late Mrs. Suri Sirikit.
