JAKARTA - Kim Soo Hyun will face the first trial regarding the termination of the contract submitted by the brand VT Cosmetics. This brand sued the actor because it was said to have suffered losses due to his controversy.

Launching Maeil Business, the Seoul District Court will hold its first hearing on November 21 over a loss lawsuit of 500 million Won.

Previously, Kim Soo Hyun was in the spotlight after allegedly having a relationship with Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor.

VT Cosmetics released a statement that it was difficult for them to continue their contract because Kim Soo Hyun could not meet the contract requirements.

"After confirming the position of the agency, we decided there was a significant reason it was difficult to continue the advertising contract and we decided to terminate the contract legally," said VT Cosmetics.

The contract between Kim Soo Hyun and the brand is said to be valid until August this year.

Kim Soo Hyun herself and her lawyer had a press conference in February without opening up opportunities for a question and answer session with journalists.

In the press conference, Kim Soo Hyun stated, "We started dating after she was an adult."

Recently, Kim Soo Hyun's lawyer reiterated that the evidence given by the family of the late Kim Sae Ron was fake and had been changed for personal gain.
