Will Return To Trial Of Drug Cases, Ammar Zoni: Ready!

JAKARTA - The alleged narcotics trafficking case carried out by actor Ammar Zoni will soon be held by the Central Jakarta District Court (PN).

Based on information from Ammar Zoni's attorney, Jon Mathias, the trial will be held online on Thursday, October 23.

"The first trial is likely to go online first and then we propose offline offline," said Jon Mathias, via text message, Wednesday, October 22.

Ammar, who knows this, through his attorney, admitted that he was ready to undergo the trial of his fourth drug case.

"Yes, healthy, ready," said Jon.

For the first trial itself, Ammar Zoni will hear the reading of the indictment along with five other defendants, namely Asep, Ardian Prasetyo, Koh Andi, Ade Candra Maulana, and Muhammad Rivaldi.

For information, Ammar Zoni is known to have circulated narcotics of methamphetamine and synthetic marijuana at the Salemba Rutan, Central Jakarta.

"That the suspect MAA alias AZ was involved in narcotics trafficking from the Salemba Rutan in Central Jakarta and the suspects had been secured by the KARUPAM of the Salemba Rutan with evidence of narcotics of the type of methamphetamine and synthetic marijuana (sinte)," the statement continued.

The Prosecutor's Office also emphasized that the actions of the suspects were regulated in the heavy articles of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.

"The actions of the suspects are regulated and threatened with prime punishment Article 114 Paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 Paragraph (1) of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics Subsidies Article 112 Paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 Paragraph (1) of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, "said the Central Jakarta District Attorney.
