JAKARTA - Kim Kardashian has again reaped the spotlight through the latest collection of his fashion brand SKIMS. The latest product is hairier underwear, named Faux Hair Micro String Pants.

The collection of the latest underwear launched by Kim Kardashian has drawn a lot of criticism from the public. This is because of its unique shape and quite eccentric.

The underwear are made of super thin and elastic net material, with the front decorated with fake hair that resembles pubic hair. There are 12 color variations including red, bronze, brown, and black with a choice of curly or straight hair texture.

In the campaign to launch underwear, Kim Kardashian carried the concept of a parody of the 1970s-style quiz show. Quoted from Instagram @skims, three standing models were seen wearing the underwear, with their censored underwear or fake hair.

"With Faux Hair Panty, your carpet can change color as you please," the account wrote, quoted on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

However, these underwear drew a lot of criticism from netizens, especially regarding the use of fake fur in the front. Netizens admitted that they were confused and highlighted their functionality.

"I'm curious who actually bought this," commented netizens.

Meanwhile, quoted from the SKIMS website, the hairy underwear product must be carefully maintained, not put in the dryer. This is done to prevent damage and maintain the quality of the hair ingredients.
