Jang Hae Young, Korean Ballad Singer Dies Of Cancer

JAKARTA - Sad news came from the South Korean music industry. Jang Hae Young, a member of the F-IV group, was declared dead on October 6.

This news was conveyed by another F-IV member, Kim Hyun Soo by telephone with Yonhap News. He stated that his group mate was battling cancer.

"Jang Hae Young passed away on October 6 after battling cancer," said Kim Hyun Soo on October 11.

Through his social media, Kim Hyun Soo also expressed his condolences and prayers for his group mate.

"See you, my friend. Let's sing together when we meet in heaven," wrote Kim Hyun Soo.

Jang Hae Young debuted as a member of the F-IV group in 2002. This group achieved their success by obtaining the Best New Artist at the KMTV Korean Music Awards the following year.

Apart from having a career as a group, he is also active as a soloist. In 2016, Hae Young appeared on the Sugar Man show with other F-IV members.

At that time, he explained that he also worked as an investment consultant and made his appearance on television after several years of not appearing in public.

Meanwhile, Jang Hae Young died at the age of 45.
