Putri Zaskia Adya Mecca Becomes Witness In Beating Case, Gets Psychologist And State Lawyer Assistance

JAKARTA - Zaskia Adya Mecca shared the latest developments that the perpetrator of beating his employee, Faisal, has now been detained in the Military Police Detachment (Denpom) and the investigation process must be repeated from the start because the status of the perpetrators as members of the TNI.

After meeting with the commander of the perpetrator, Zaskia and her family continued their visit to Denpom 2 Cijantung to directly monitor the ongoing process.

"After meeting, we will continue to stop by Denpom 2 Cijantung. That's where the perpetrator was detained," said Zaskia Adya Mecca, quoted by VOI from his personal Instagram, Tuesday, October 7.

There, he received an explanation that the filing process took a short time, with an estimated maximum of 1.5 months to a maximum of 120 days before being transferred to court.

He also revealed the fact that the entire investigation process previously handled by public police must be repeated by military police.

"Over the past week the investigation continued, there was a crime scene from Denpom (first 4 days after the incident, everything was done by the police. But because the perpetrator turned out to be a soldier, the process was repeated from scratch," explained Zaskia.

Even though they had to repeat the process, Zaskia's family said they were ready to go through everything completely.

"We are also preparing to undergo the process until it is completed with all existing law," he added.

One of the heartbreaking aspects of Zaskia Adya Mecca's assistant abuse is the involvement of her daughter, Kala Madali, as an eye witness.

Now, Kala has been asked to testify officially with full assistance from the state to ensure his psychological condition is maintained.

Zaskia Adya Mecca explained that her daughter received support from the Technical Implementation Unit of the DKI Jakarta Women and Children Protection Area (UPTD PPA) during the Investigation Report (BAP) process.

"If they are asked for testimony, thank God, accompanied by PPA DKI, they prepare psychologists and lawyers for free from the state," continued Zaskia in her upload.

This assistance is very crucial considering the trauma that a child may experience when witnessing acts of violence in person.

Luckily, according to Zaskia, the condition of Kala and the victim, Faisal, continued to show improvement over time and the amount of support they received.

"The condition of Faisal & Kala, thank God, continues to improve over time, the number of supports makes them enthusiastic and strong," he said.
