Airing 3 Days, Taylor Swift's New Album Film Ranked 1 In The Global Cinema

JAKARTA - It only took Taylor Swift three days to reach the box office for the film. The Official Release Party of a Showgirl album which is the celebration of the 12th album reached number one in theaters over the weekend.

This broadcast was held in 54 countries earning 46 million US dollars or equivalent to Rp764 billion recording Swift's success in album releases.

Taylor Swift teamed up with the AMC cinema network to release The Official Release Party of a Showgirl for three days from October 3 to 5, 2025. Previously, they worked together to screen the concert film The Eras Tour.

This film features the process of making the latest albums along with the music video The Fate of Opelia.

"A gift from him for fans who are enthusiastic to see on our big screen the making of The Life of a Showgirl," said AMC CEO Adam Aron quoting Variety.

"It's an honor and luck for us once again to play a major role in uncompared success," he continued.

Taylor Swift released her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl last week as her latest album after completing an Eras tour.

The song The Fate of Ophelia was selected as the first single in which the music video was directed by Swift. This video was also released on YouTube a few hours after screening in theaters.
