The Perpetrator Of Hanung Bramantyo's Assistant Beating Claims To Be A 'Member', Allegedly Panic Afraid Of Being Beaten

JAKARTA - Mystery enveloped the identity of the perpetrator of the persecution of Hanung Bramantyo's assistant, Faisal.

According to information received by Hanung, the perpetrator had claimed to be a "member" when his actions were being dispersed by local residents, adding to the impression of arrogance in the incident.

Hanung Bramantyo shared the details he got from Faisal about what the perpetrator said.

"According to Faisal, he only said 'I'm a member' ... it's not clear what member," Hanung Bramantyo wrote via text message, Monday, September 22.

He speculated that the confession might be made because the perpetrator felt panicked and pressed.

"He called it because people wanted to intervene with him for his actions to beat Faisal," he explained.

"Most likely the person panicked, was afraid of being beaten by a mob, finally calling me a member," continued Hanung Bramantyo.

The incident of the beating that happened to Hanung Bramantyo's assistant, Faisal, left a deeper wound than just physical.

Their children, especially Kala Madali, who were direct eyewitnesses to the incident, experienced deep trauma.

Hanung Bramantyo revealed how devastated he was to know the psychological impact on his child.

This well-known director told how Kala tried to inform him from afar and how the incident made an impression in his memory.

When asked if the child was traumatized, Hanung gave a heartbreaking answer.

"Obviously. When he tried to inform me, if he closed his eyes while passing the TKP road," said Hanung.

This incident is a bitter reminder of the impact of violence that can be left on children.

Hanung, who usually escorts his children to school, has to swallow the bitterness of this incident when he is unable to attend and performs Umrah. "Usually I also take the children to school," he added.
