Henry Cavill Injured In Film Preparations, Filming Postponed Until Next Year

JAKARTA - Henry Cavill is reportedly injured in the midst of preparations for his latest film adapted from the 1986 film Highlander. This film will be directed by Chad Stahelski, which is also played by Russell Crowe, Marisa Abela, Karen Gillan, and so on.

He is preparing for his new role for the film, but due to the injury, Cavill has certainly not been able to shoot.

Production of the Highlander film may also be delayed until next year. In addition, Cavill's injury has not been revealed.

Amazon MGM production house and representative Henry Cavill have yet to provide an official statement.

The film Highlander is a 1986 film, played by Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery. This franchise was successful until it was made into four films, series, and several novels.

This remake project has been carried out since 2008, but only received the green light in 2016 when Chad Stahelski joined and Henry Cavill followed in 2021.

Previously Henry Cavill announced he was stepping down from his role in the 2022 series The Witcher to focus on the Superman film. However, he canceled playing Superman which was then played by David Corenswet.

His role in The Witcher series was replaced by Liam Hemsworth starting this year.
