Religious Court Denies Pratama Arhan Withdraws Divorce Lawsuit From Azizah Salsha

JAKARTA - Tigaraksa Religious Court, represented through public relations, Sholahuddin, denied the issue that Pratama Arhan had withdrawn his divorce suit against Azizah Salsha.

Sholahuddin said that Arhan and Azizah's divorce cases were still ongoing since the reading of the divorce decision on August 25.

"Well, we confirmed earlier to the chairman of the assembly, so we asked for a short time to confirm that it was not true that there was a revocation of the case, yes," said Sholahuddin at the Tigaraksa Religious Court, Tuesday, September 9.

Furthermore, Sholahuddin said that the withdrawal of the case could be carried out. Moreover, if until the deadline for reading the pledge is not carried out for up to 6 months, the pledge is declared null and void.

"Actually, if the withdrawal of the case can be done, but if it is for divorce, the divorce has just been granted to make the pledge and when it is carried out, what, the time of the pledge is determined, then they are not present and are awaited until the 6-month report, the pledge itself is dead, so it is still husband and wife," said Sholahuddin.

Sholahuddin even said that until now the status of Azizah Salsha and Pratama Arhan were still husband and wife until later the limit of the pledge of divorce was read.

"Yes (still husband and wife), because the pledge has not been made," explained Sholahuddin.

Previously, Sholahuddin said that footballers, Pratama Arhan and Azizah Salsha, had officially divorced. Their divorce was decided by verstek alias without the presence of the defendant, namely Azizah Salsha.

"It has been decided (to divorce) without the defendant's presence," said spokesman for the Tigaraksa Religious Court, Sholahuddin, Monday, August 25.

After being decided to divorce verstek, Pratama Arhan's party is just waiting for the trial to read the divorce pledge so that this decision can have permanent legal force.

"Not yet, this has just been granted to read his pledge, if the divorce is divorce, it means that later there will be pronunciation, that's one of the executions of pronunciation, he was only allowed to divorce divorce, said his pledge, so no, there is still time, in the next 14 days to file a fight," explained Sholahuddin.

"There will be a call later. If he does not file a fight, there will be a BHT, with permanent legal force, then the trial will be determined when the pledge will be," he continued.
