Claresta Taufan Dilema In Pangku Film Teaser

JAKARTA - Image of Motion released the first teaser for the film Pangku which became the debut of director Reza Rahadian. The teaser was released ahead of its premiere at the 2025 Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) on 17-26 September.

This one-minute teaser shows the main character named Sartika, played by Claresta Taufan in life as a mother and a woman. Some scenes highlight his life moving into a city in hopes of changing his life.

Now he lives in Pantura and works in one of the coffee shops that offers laps services. His life changed after he met a truck driver named Hadi (Fedi Nuril).

This teaser was accompanied by the song Ibu from Iwan Fals as the theme song for the film Pangku. The day before, Reza Rahadian was also a guest on the Iwan Fals stage at the 2025 Party.

This film also stars Christine Hakim, Devano Danendra, Shakeel Fauzi, Jose Rizal Manua, Reza Chandika, Kaan Lativan, Nazira C. Noer, Galabby, TJ Ruth, Lukman Sardi, and Nai Djenar Maisa Ayu.

Film Pangku brings a story about the struggle of a woman who survives by serving coffee laps without having much choice. In this film, we will see the struggles of two women, Sartika and Maya, who both "do me" even though each of them is in trouble with their lives, "said Reza Rahadian as the director of the film Pangku.

This film was written by Reza Rahadian with Felix K. Nesi and produced by Arya Ibrahim with Gita Fara.

The film Pangku will compete in the Vision program at BIFF 2025 with the international title On Your Lap. Pangku will premiere on BIFF before showing in Indonesian cinemas on November 6, 2025.
