From K-Pop To Big Screen, Jeon Somi Stars In Horror Perfect Girl

Jeon Somi will debut as an actress by acting in a new film titled Perfect Girl. She will co-star with Arden Cho and Adeline Rudolph.

Launching Deadline, Perfect Girl is a horror and thriller film whose script is called combining ' Scream' combined with 'Black Swan'

Perfect Girl tells the K-pop group that prepares for their debut but the situation changes after a mysterious woman is chosen as a member, strange things start to emerge from the members who are inundated and attacked.

On the other hand, they have to struggle to train to show their debut as a group well, but who will debut?

This film is directed by Hong Won Ki and written by Lynn Q. With the theme, this film also features six new original songs although it is not yet known whether Arden Cho or Jeon Somi fills the soundtrack.

"We are excited that Jeon Somi made her film debut in Perfect Girl. She is one of the talents who has chemistry with Arden and Adeline," said producer Scott Strauss.

"The three of them will feature tensions, dramas and collaborate with director Hong to ensure authentic portraits of Korean culture and the world of K-pop," he said.

Jeon Somi started her career after competing in the Produce 101 event. She debuted as a member of the IOI group before debuting as a soloist and releasing various singles.

Jeon Somi released her second mini album, Chaotic and Converted last August. He followed in the footsteps of his father, Matthew Douma who is an actor.

Meanwhile, film production will begin on October 27 in Asia.
