JAKARTA - Generation Z increasingly emphasizes itself as a group that dares to express character through fashion.

They not only follow global trends, but also like to experiment combining casual styles with a touch of sporty, or choose a neat clean look with a neutral and earth tone color.

For Gen Z, dress is not just a necessity, but a way to show self-identity as well as being able to express what is felt.

This phenomenon encourages the emergence of new spaces in the fashion world that provide a platform for the creativity of young people, one of which is through fashion bazaars.

One of the things that is being discussed is Locapop, a ready-to-wear bazaar which was held for the first time on August 27' 31, 2025 at Aeon Mall Tanjung Barat, South Jakarta. Carrying the tagline Let's Pop Your Style, this event was specially designed to meet the tastes of the younger generation who are dynamic and expressive.

This bazaar was initiated by Eras Pragitha, the figure behind the success of the Rendevous Market who was more focused on modest fashion. This time, he presents a different concept that focuses on daily wear which is close to the daily lives of young people.

"We are targeting Gen Z as the main target, whose style is more casual, courageous, and diverse. This is not just a bazaar, but an expression room through fashion," said Eras Pragitha, Head Creative Locapop.

From day one, Locapop has succeeded in thousands of visitors and the number continues to grow every day. This fact shows that even though online shopping is increasingly popular, the offline shopping experience still has its own appeal, especially for the younger generation who seek direct interaction.

A total of 58 tenants enlivened this event with clothing collections, bags, and accessories. Brands such as Fimelo, Bianca, Olon, Deav Hijab, Tubita, to Nay Sportware display a variety of styles ranging from bodycon slit dresses, barrel pants, to butter and earth tone color alloys that are hype.

"Gen Z tends to dare to experiment. They like layering, neutral color, patternless outfits, even combining sports styles with trendy bags. It's not just a matter of trend, it's about character and statement," added Eras.

Furthermore, South Jakarta was chosen because this area is close to campus activities and youth communities. Loopop is also not just a place to buy and sell, but a creative space to introduce fashion styles to the latest fashion trends, ranging from vintage look, pop culture style, to the use of unique accessories such as earrings, hats, and headpieces.

In the future, it is planned to be held regularly every three months and could reach other big cities in Indonesia.

"We want Gen Z throughout Indonesia to have a place to look for affordable, relevant fashion, and make them more daring to styling. In the future, tenants will be more varied, starting from non-hijab brands, shoes, perfumes, and more," concluded Eras.
